Bushey's New and Used Furniture was established
in 1960 by Harry Bushey (1928-2001). Mr. Bushey
started his business in a two car garage attached to
the family home where his beloved wife Alfreda, and
two boys Richard and Randy lived. While Harry was
at his full time job at the local mill, Afreda would tend
to the furniture store as well as take care of the two
boys. Harry and Afreda agreed to put all of Harry's
earnings away from his job at the mill and to live on
the money from the furniture store for one year. If
they could be successful at this, Harry was going to
leave the mill and a furniture man he would be. One
year later Harry discovered he was successful in his
endeavors and left the mill. As the business grew so
did the need to hire his first employee in the 1970's.

Through the years Richard and Randy grew older
and more fond of the furniture business and became
partners with their father in 1980.

Richard and Randy worked hard everyday delivering
furniture and setting up the showroom floors for the
next working day. In 1990 Harry decided to retire
and slow down a bit, turning over ownership of the
business to his two sons.

Today, Bushey's Furniture consists of over 15,000
square feet of showrooms ranging from new, used,
antique and reproduction furniture and accessories.
In an effort to keep up with the current trends they
continually look for ways to expand and grow with
the ever changing needs of their consumers.

There currently are 6 employees working for
Bushey's Furniture.
